The government has announced that arrangements have been made to allocate a special fuel allowance exclusively for eligible healthcare workers every Friday.
Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella said that the decision has been taken following discussions with Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera.
He further said this move will greatly aid the essential service workers in the execution of their duties.
