Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today dodged a question raised on Minister Dhammika Perera’s statement calling for the former’s resignation from the portfolio of Finance Minister.
Addressing the media today, Minister Dhammika Perera accused the Finance Minister of preventing bringing in nearly US$ 30 million to the country.
Stating that the Finance Minister has no future cash-flow planning for the country, he said the Finance Minister has also delayed all matters related to dollar earnings, borrowing, bridging finance, available credit lines, and essential good credit lines.
When inquired in this regard by opposition MP Dr. Harsha de Silva in Parliament today, the Prime Minister cracked a joke and refrained from answering the question. (NewsWire)
