The Colombo Chief Magistrate has rejected a request to issue a restraining order against protests organized by the Inter-University Student’s Federation (IUSF).
The Cinnamon Garden Police had sought a restraining order from the court to prevent protesters from entering several roads in Colombo during the protests.
The IUSF is set to hold protest marches today (08) and tomorrow (09) against the President and the government over the current issues in the country. (NewsWire)
