The Inter-University Students’ Federation (IUSF) says it expects to stage a series of protests to urge Acting President and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to step down from his portfolios.
IUSF Convenor Wasantha Mudalige urged the public to stage protests in their areas today (18) and tomorrow (19).
“We were able to make former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa step down from his post due to the whole country joining in together and making the nation a protest site,” he pointed out.
