Burning Ranil’s house : CID seeking public support for investigation

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has sought the assistance of the public to apprehend suspects involved in setting fire to President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s house during public protests on 09th July. 

The Police have requested the public to send photos or video footage of those involved in the illegal entry, setting fire to the house, and damaging a vehicle belonging to the President.

The public has been requested to send the photos and videos to the Police’s WhatsApp number 071-8594950.

The Police said the evidence would further help the investigations being conducted by the CID into the incident. (NewsWire)
