A 31-year-old man has been shot and killed on Saturday (3) night in the Pitigala police division in Galle district.
The victim had been admitted to the Elpitiya hospital with gunshot wounds and later transferred to the Karapitiya general hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police say that the victim is a person who lends money for interest and suspect the murder has been committed due to a money related dispute.
Police are conducting further investigations to apprehend the suspects (NewsWire)
