A 52-year-old woman has died after being attacked by a man near her residence in Badowita area in Mount Lavinia on Saturday night (3).
Police say that the attack had taken place after an argument between the suspect and the residents had gone too far and the suspect had then attacked the victim.
The woman had been admitted to the Kalubowila hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to her injuries. The suspect has been identified and the police are conducting investigations to apprehend the suspect. (NewsWire)
