Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says the main framework of proposed reforms to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) will be presented to the Cabinet of Ministers by the end of the month.
In a Twitter message, the minister said that a discussion was held on the proposals of the CEB Reforms Committee yesterday (04).
He further said that the committee has met with development agencies, sector experts, and stakeholders thus far.
The committee will meet political parties and the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) this week, Minister Wijesekera revealed.
He added that measures are underway to present the main framework to the Cabinet of Ministers soon. (NewsWire)
