37 suspects arrested for forcibly entering President’s house

Thirty-seven (37) suspects have been arrested so far out of the 71 that were identified for having forcibly entered the President’s official residence in Fort and for illegal assembly.

The Police said an investigation had been launched into anti-government protesters who had forcibly entered the President’s official residence, causing damages, and stealing property during protests on 09th July. 

The photographs of 71 identified suspects had been released to the media out of which 37 have been arrested thus far. 

The Police added that five among them have been remanded, while a few others have been released on bail. (NewsWire)
