Actress Damitha Abeyratne has been remanded by the Fort Magistrate’s Court for having forcibly entered the Presidential Secretariat during anti-government protests in Sri Lanka.
The actress was arrested yesterday on charges of having forcibly entered the Presidential Secretariat during protests on 09th July.
She had reported to the Fort Police to record a statement on the incident after which she was arrested.
Actress Damitha Abeyratne was produced before the Fort Magistrate’s Court today and was remanded till the 14th of September 2022. (NewsWire)
