A youth has been arrested for attacking and torching the house of Parliamentarian Sumith Udukumbura during the unrest in Sri Lanka on 10th May 2022.
The Police said the suspect had attacked and destroyed the property located in the Hiriyala area in Gokarella.
The suspect had been arrested yesterday by the Kurunegala Division Crimes Investigations Division.
He has been identified as a 26-year-old resident of Malsiripura.
The Kurunegala Division Crimes Investigations Division is conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
