Sri Lankan actress Damitha Abeyratne who was remanded last week has been released on bail by the Fort Magistrate’s Court.
Abeyratne was arrested on Wednesday (07) on charges of having forcibly entered the Presidential Secretariat during anti-government protests on 09th July.
The following day (08), she was remanded by the Fort Magistrate’s Court until 14th September.
However, the court today released her on two personal bail of Rs. 500,000 each.
The Fort Magistrate’s Court has also issued an order preventing actress Damitha Abeyratne from leaving the country. (NewsWire)
