Report on Sri Lanka presented to UNHRC

The report on Sri Lanka from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has been presented at the 51st regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva. 

The Acting High Commissioner for Human Rights Nada Al-Nashif presented the report on Sri Lanka to the Council today. 

Presenting the report, Nada Al-Nashif said that the situation in Sri Lanka was fragile and called for accountability for human rights violations.
