The Ministry of Public Administration has declared Monday, the 19th of September as a special holiday for state institutions.
The Secretary to the Ministry said that the special holiday has been announced in line with the day of mourning for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Last week, the government announced that the 19th of September has been declared a day of mourning in view of the passing of the United Kingdom’s longest-serving monarch.
Thereby, the 19th of September will also be declared a special holiday for all state institutions.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration said, however, that the special holiday will be provided without affecting the essential services of state institutions. (NewsWire)
