The Ministry of Education has declared Monday, the 19th of September a holiday for government schools and government-approved private schools.
The Ministry said that the holiday has been provided in line with the holiday declared for state institutions on Monday.
The government has declared Monday a holiday for state employees in view of the passing of the United Kingdom’s longest-serving monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
