The Colombo International Book Fair 2022 was declared open at the BMICH in Colombo today.
Organized by the Sri Lanka Book Publishers’ Association this is the 23rd Colombo International Book Fair to be held in Sri Lanka.
The book fair will be underway from today until the 25th of September from 09.00 am to 07.00 pm.
The Colombo International Book Fair 2022 was declared open by Education Ministry Secretary M. N. Ranasinghe this morning.
Over 400 local and international book stalls have been included in this year’s book fair as it was unable to be held last year due to the Covid pandemic.
Due to public transportation issues, the book fair will end at 07.00 pm, while it will also strictly adhere to Covid regulations provided by the Health Ministry.
Special bus services have also been organized from the Bambalapitiya, Colombo- Fort, and Maradana train stations in view of the book fair. (NewsWire)
