The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a circular on providing no-pay leave for pension-owning government officers up to a maximum of 05 years.
The circular has been issued by Ministry Secretary Priyantha Mayadunne after Cabinet approval was received in this regard earlier in September.
Thereby, state employees can obtain no-pay leave for a period of five years during their employment tenure.
As per the circular, the salary and seniority of the employees will not be affected by the leave. (NewsWire)
