A suspect linked to yesterday’s (12) shooting incident at an three-wheeler stand in Ahungalla, was reported dead following a shoot out with the Special Task Force this evening.
According to the Police, the suspect had died following a shoot out with the STF after being connered near the Ahungalle Sports Ground.
The suspect is alleged to have open fire at a three-wheeler stand following a dispute using a T-56 assault rifle.
A 45 year-old resident of Gal Vehera, in Ahungalle was entered in to Balapitiya Base hospital after sustaining injuries in yesterday’s shooting. (NewsWire)
