A student of the Engineering Faculty of the University of Peradeniya who was reported missing for 10 days has returned.
Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Terrence Madhujith told the media that the student had participated in academic activities of the university on Wednesday (12).
The student, who is a 3rd-year student of the Engineering Faculty of the University of Peradeniya was reported missing from his hostel since 02nd October.
The youth is said to have left his hostel after leaving a letter, following which the university administration had filed a complaint with the Police.
The 25-year-old resident of Ganemulla, Kadawatha is said to have spent the past few days in Badulla, during which he had informed his mother of his wellbeing. (NewsWire)
