The prices of 92 Octane Petrol and Auto Diesel will be reduced from 09.00 pm today, Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera announced.
The minister said the price of 92 Octane Petrol will be reduced by Rs. 40 per liter and the new price is Rs. 370 per liter.
The price of Auto Diesel will be reduced by Rs. 15 per liter and the new price is Rs. 415 per liter, he said.
Minister Kanchana Wijesekera added that, however, the prices of other petroleum products will remain the same.
Meanwhile, the Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) has also announced that it will reduce its fuel prices in line with the price reduction of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO). (NewsWire)
