The Sri Lanka Navy has re-established communications with a vessel with which it had lost contact almost a month ago.
The vessel with a crew of 06 sailors was engaged in surveillance activities on the southern seas when it lost contact on 16th September.
Sri Lanka had earlier requested assistance from regional countries to locate the missing vessel.
According to the Sri Lanka Navy, it has been able to re-establish communication with the vessel this morning. (NewsWire)
