The Department of Meteorology says there will be a slight enhancement of rainy conditions today (20) and tomorrow (21).
Thereby, showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western, and Northern provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
Heavy showers of about 100 mm may be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and North-Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere over the Island during the afternoon or night.
The Met Department said strong winds of about 40-45 kmph can be expected at times over the western slopes of the Central hills and in the Southern province.
