The Sri Lanka cricket team flew from Melbourne to Hobart today ahead of their Super 12 matches in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia.

The team landed in Hobart this morning and rested today as it is their travelling day, while they will commence practices tomorrow at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.

According to the weather forecast for Hobart, Sri Lanka’s practice session is most likely to be affected as rain has been predicted for tomorrow.

The indoor training could be a disadvantage for Sri Lanka as their next opponent Ireland, has played all their 1st round fixtures in Hobart.

Sri Lanka will take on Ireland in their first Super 12 match on Sunday, 23rd October 2022.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s two injured players Pathum Nissanka and Pramod Madushan will be assessed tomorrow during the training session. (NewsWire)
