Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has held key discussions pertaining to Sri Lanka’s Power and Energy Sector with visiting Deputy Assistant Secretary to the US Treasury Robert Kaproth today (25).
Minister Wijesekera said Robert Kaproth, US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung, and officials of the US Treasury and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) participated in the discussion.
He added that the talks focussed on reforms in Sri Lanka’s Power & Energy Sector, policies, debt restructuring, fuel management system, and Petroleum products procurement. (NewsWire)
