The Cabinet has approved a proposal restricting the overseas travels of Ministers, State Ministers, and government-linked MPs on Parliament session days and during the debate on the budget.
The proposal in this regard was presented by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
The Prime Minister’s proposal says government ministers and MPs will be permitted to travel overseas during Parliament sittings and the budget debate, only in case of urgent medical needs or very urgent work of the government. (NewsWire)
