MP Rishad Badurdeen has been acquitted by the Fort Magistrates Court from the charges under the Prevention of Terrorism Act in relation to the Easter attacks case filed against him.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrested MP Bathiudeen on 24 April 2021 over the charges of aiding and abetting the Easter Sunday attackers.
