A total of 44 MOH Divisions in Sri Lanka have been declared as high-risk zones for dengue.
The National Dengue Control Unit said that an 18% increase has been noted in the number of dengue patients reported in Sri Lanka over the last week.
Stating that 1,114 dengue patients were reported last week, the Unit said it is a significant increase from the 943 patients that were reported the previous week.
According to the National Dengue Control Unit, 63,549 dengue patients have been reported in Sri Lanka so far this year. (NewsWire)
