The Police have sought the assistance of the public to apprehend a group of individuals that had robbed a bank in Avissawella.
The Avissawella Police said the group had stolen Rs. 5 million worth of jewelry and cash.
Video footage from the CCTV at the bank premises shows the individuals entering the bank after breaking the back door.
One individual is caught walking around with an open umbrella in an attempt to hide the group’s identity. (NewsWire)
