A main suspect who had allegedly engaged in human trafficking activities in Dubai and Oman has been arrested at the Katunayaka airport this morning (19) upon his arrival to the country.
The 44-year-old suspect who is a resident of Dehiwala area was arrested by the officers of the foreign employment bureau at the Bandaranayake International Airport.
It is further reported that he had operated 6 foreign employment agencies in Dambulla area and is accused of sending young people abroad on visit visas, promising them of foreign employment. (NewsWire)
