A wanted suspect has been injured in a shooting while the Police attempted to arrest him in Mahawela, Meetiyagoda today.
The suspect was shot by the Police Special Task Force (STF) during a special sting operation carried out to arrest him this morning.
The Police said the injured suspect, who is a drug peddler, has been hospitalized. (NewsWire)
