Elon Musk criticized Apple Inc. and its chief executive, Tim Cook, for allegedly withdrawing most of its advertising spending on Twitter Inc. and said the computing giant is threatening the social-media company’s presence in its App Store.
In a series of tweets Monday, Mr. Musk asked if Apple supports free speech and posted a poll asking users whether Apple should publish all censorship actions it has taken that affect its customers. Mr. Musk also tweeted Mr. Cook’s handle, asking the CEO, “What’s going on.”
