A dead body of a man was found by the Fort Police on Monday (28th) in Galleface during investigations conducted based on information received, Police said.
The deceased was identified as a 45-year-old resident of Grandpass.
Investigations revealed that the deceased person had been receiving treatment for diabetes for some time and he has returned home after receiving residential treatment at the Colombo National Hospital on the Sunday, the 27th of November 2022 and had later left home early on Monday, the 28th of November 2022.
The dead body was identified by the relatives of the deceased.
The corpse of the deceased has been placed at the Colombo National Hospital Morgue for post-mortem examination.
Fort Police will conduct further investigations. (NewsWire)
