The circulars issued in 2019 and 2022 on the official attire of staff grade officials in the state sector have been revoked with immediate effect, the Ministry of Public Administration announced today.

Issuing a new circular, the ministry said that the two circulars that were issued earlier in June 2019 and September 2022 have been thus revoked.

The Ministry of Public Administration said the Cabinet has granted approval to revoke the two circulars.

The circulars had permitted state employees to report to work in casual and appropriate attire due to various reasons, including the economic crisis. (NewsWire)
