Litro Gas Lanka expects to distribute over 100,000 domestic gas cylinders islandwide from today.
Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris said the LP gas tanker that was ordered had been delayed, due to which there was a restriction on gas distribution.
According to Ada Derana, he said that the LP gas tanker is close to Sri Lankan shores.
Peiris assured that thereby, all necessary measures have been taken for consumers to purchase gas cylinders without any inconvenience during the upcoming festive season.
“We expect to distribute nearly 100,000 of the 12.5kg domestic gas cylinders to the local market today. We will also distribute the other types of gas cylinders as well,” he said.
Peiris further revealed that the unloading of gas from the LP gas tanker that has already arrived in Sri Lanka is currently underway.
Stating that the company expects to distribute at least 117,000 domestic gas cylinders today, he added that this will be continued over the coming days. (NewsWire)
