The ‘Veterans Job Bank’ web portal for all retired Army personnel was launched by the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage at the Army Headquarters premises on Tuesday (29).
The Sri Lanka Army said that the web portal has been launched with the aim to provide better employment opportunities.
This web portal was designed and developed by the Directorate of Information Technology under the guidance of Major General H.M.L.D Herath RSP USP psc, Chief Signal Officer and Brigadier G.L.S.W Liyanage USP psc, Director, Directorate of Information Technology.
The new web portal is registered with 13 island-wide companies which will facilitate job opportunities for retired Army personnel. (NewsWire)
