Nearly 644,186 tourist arrivals have been reported in Sri Lanka so far this year, the Ministry of Tourism revealed.
The ministry said that 16,168 tourist arrivals have been recorded within the first seven days of December.
The highest number of tourist arrivals, 106,500 tourists, was reported in March 2022.
The Tourism Ministry said the tourist arrivals have been reported from 20 countries, with a majority of them, 108,510 tourists, from India.
A total of 78,827 British nationals and 74,713 Russian nationals have also visited Sri Lanka so far this year, the ministry added. (NewsWire)
