Dinesh Schaffter, Director of Janashakthi Group, who was found tied inside a car at the Borella General Cemetery has died in hospital.
The Police said that Dinesh Schaffter died after suffering a cardiac arrest at the intensive care unit of the Colombo National Hospital.
A top businessman, Dinesh Schaffter was found in critical condition, tied inside his car at the Borella General Cemetery earlier today (15).
Investigations had revealed that Schaffter had gone missing after leaving his home.
According to Lankadeepa, the Police said that his wife had called him shortly and his phone was switched off. Later his wife’s mobile phone received signals that he was at the Borella cemetery.
He was found inside the cemetery by one of his office workers, tied up in the driving seat with injuries. (NewsWire)
