A complaint has been filed with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) against State Minister of Tourism Diana Gamage.

Social media activist Oshala Herath filed the complaint with the Bribery Commission today (20).

The complaint has been filed over the diplomatic passport that has been issued to State Minister Diana Gamage by the Department of Immigration and Emigration.

In his complaint, Oshala Herath says Diana Gamage holds British Citizenship and issuing a diplomatic passport to her is a violation of Sri Lanka’s Immigrants and Emigrants Act.

Pointing out the abuse of powers in this regard, Oshala Herath has requested the Bribery Commission to conduct an investigation into the matter. (NewsWire)
