Sri Lanka ranks 64th out of 121 countries in the 2022 Global Hunger Index.
As per the Index, with a score of 13.6, Sri Lanka has a level of hunger that is moderate.
Sri Lanka is ahead of its neighbour India, which is ranked 107 on the Global Hunger Index.
Belarus leads the index ranked first, while Yemen, Somalia, South Sudan, and Burundi are ranked last in the hunger index.
