Employees of the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) have shown their displeasure over the Chairman of the EDB by walking away during an official event.
The employees had walked away as the Chairman & Chief Executive of the EDB Suresh D de Mel approached the stage to deliver his New Year message to the staff.
Video footage shows a majority of the staff having walked away as a mark of protest, while a few were seen remaining during the EDB Chairman’s New Year address. (NewsWire)
