A 24-year-old youth has died after being attacked with a sharp object in the Paathagama area in the Midigama Police Division last night (11).
The Police stated that the deceased is a 24-year-old resident of Ahangama, Midigama.
Stating that the cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained, the Police stated that investigations have revealed that a group of individuals had been involved in the murder.
The Magisterial inquiry into the death is expected to be conducted today (12), while the Midigama Police has launched investigations to apprehend the suspects. (NewsWire)
