The staff of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) have shown displeasure over the failure to provide the annual bonus.
The SLBFE staff have reportedly surrounded the office of the General Manager demanding the annual bonus.
It is reported that the annual bonus had not been approved by the Treasury.
The staff point outed that even though the SLBFE had not paid a bonus, several loss-making state institutions had made bonus payments. (NewsWire)
