Action will be taken against fuel stations that fail to follow the National Fuel Pass (NFP) programme, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) said in a statement.
CEYPETCO stated that several complaints have been received of fuel stations disregarding the fuel pass system and engaging in malpractices.
Stating that fuel is distributed to fuel stations based on the stipulated fuel pass quotas, CEYPETCO warned that action will be taken against those who disregard the system.
CEYPETCO stated that fuel stations that do not follow the fuel pass system will see the termination of their licences or will not be distributed fuel in the future. (NewsWire)
