A total of 2,030 dengue patients have been detected within the second week of January 2023.
The National Dengue Control Unit stated that the dengue cases were reported between the 9th – the 15th of January 2023.
The highest number of dengue patients was detected in the Colombo district with 452 patients.
417 dengue patients were detected in the Gampaha district, 257 in the Puttalam district, 123 in the Kalutara district, 107 in the Kalmunai district, and 103 in the Jaffna district.
The National Dengue Control Unit further said that a total of 4,172 dengue patients have been reported so far this year. (NewsWire)
