An individual has been injured in a shooting reported on 6th Lane in Kotahena this afternoon, the Police stated.
According to the Police, two individuals on a motorcycle had opened fire at a person travelling in a car.
The suspects on a scooty had fired thrice at the person who was seated inside a blue-coloured Honda Civic car that had been stopped facing Bloemendhal Road.
The suspects had fled the area after the incident, while two empty bullet shells had been found at the site of the incident.
The Police stated that the injured individual has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital. (NewsWire)
