A 12-year-old child has died in a wasp attack reported in the Komariya area in the Uhana Police Division yesterday (02).
The Police stated that the child had been attacked by wasps after an eagle had disturbed a wasp nest last afternoon.
The child who was admitted to the Ampara Hospital following the wasp attack had died while receiving treatment.
The deceased is a 12-year-old boy and a resident of Komariya, Uhana.
