The body of one of the three schoolboys who were reported missing while swimming in the seas off Matara yesterday has been recovered.
The Police Media Unit stated that the body of a 17-year-old boy from Makandura was recovered in the sea area near Pigeon Island in Matara today.
They further stated that the body that was recovered during a search operation by the Navy has been placed at the Matara Hospital.
The Police Media Unit added that the Sri Lanka Navy is continuing with the search operation to find the other two missing schoolboys. (NewsWire)
