The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has filed a Fundamental Rights Petition at the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka against the Finance Ministry Secretary and other officials over the Local Government elections.
The Fundamental Rights petition was filed by SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara today.
The SJB has requested the court to issue an order that the Finance Secretary and others officials are violating the people’s fundamental rights by not allocating funds for the Local Government polls. (NewsWire)
