The Fort Magistrate’s Court has issued an order preventing protest marches in Colpetty and several areas in Colombo -Fort today.
The Inter-University Student’s Federation (IUSF) has planned a large-scale protest march over seven key demands.
University students have been summoned to gather in Colombo- Fort at 12.30 PM.
Upon a request by the Police, the Fort Magistrate’s Court issued an order preventing protest marches in Colpetty and several areas in Colombo -Fort today.
The court order also prevents the protesters from entering areas where the President’s House, President’s Office, and Finance Ministry are located, and the Galle Face Green area.
The Fort Magistrate’s Court order further prevents IUSF Convener Wasantha Mudalige and several others from entering the specified areas between 11.00 am to 10.00 pm. (NewsWire)
