The Ministry of Energy has shared a breakdown of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation’s (CPC) retail and industrial fuel sales records in the last 13 months.
Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera said a reduction in retail and industrial fuel sales has been reported in January 2023 in comparison to January 2022.
In a Twitter message, he said a reduction of about 50% in Auto Diesel, about 30% in Petrol, and about 70% in Kerosene use has been reported during this period. (NewsWire)
